AGORA – TEE
In Ancient Greek and Roman cities, Agora was a central public space. This public space would often create a diverse experience for citizens as it was capable of summoning both the political and commercial spectres at once. Furthermore, agora was a central hub including various aspects of common life, such as sports, arts, spirituality as well as politics.
Thus, the coin, the number one exchanged object was focal to the social interactions between citizens and merchants. One could argue that could actually be used as a means to approach someone by inspecting his merchandise with the purpose of socialising.
